Carbon Destroyer 1 arrived in Esbjerg today

Today, Carbon Destroyer 1 arrived in Esbjerg, following its journey from the Royal Wagenborg yard in the Netherlands.

The vessel is the worlds first offshore CO₂ carrier and its arrival marks the transition from construction to the next phase, where final adjustments and integration work will take place at the Port Esbjerg.

Carbon Destroyer 1 is a key part of the infrastructure being developed to establish the first full CCS value chain in the EU pioneered by Greensand.

With the vessel now in Denmark, the project moves another step closer to enabling CO₂ transport and storage at scale.
