CO₂ terminal taking shape in Esbjerg.

Progress continues at the CO₂ terminal in Esbjerg, where key infrastructure is now coming into place.

Tanks 3 and 4 were delivered and installed at the end of March, adding to the visible build-out of the onshore facilities that will receive and prepare CO₂ for offshore storage in the North Sea. The remaining tanks are expected to be delivered later this summer.

Together with Carbon Destroyer 1, the terminal forms a central part of the infrastructure needed to enable transport and storage of CO₂.

With both onshore and offshore elements progressing, Greensand is moving closer to establishing the first full CCS value chain in the EU.
