Management visit at Wagenborg Yard - Progress on Carbon Destroyer 1.

INEOS` operational Management in Esbjerg visited Carbon Destroyer 1 at the Royal Wagenborg yard to review construction progress and align on the final phase before the vessel departs for Esbjerg. The visit provided an opportunity to walk through the key areas of the ship and confirm the readiness for the upcoming installation of the CO₂ injection systems, which will be mounted on the deck once the vessel arrives in Esbjerg.

The extra accommodation area for INEOS Energy personnel is now close to completion, and the interior is beginning to take shape with visible progress on cabins and finishing details. The team also inspected the cargo room, where the cargo tanks have been installed, giving a clear impression of the final layout and available space once construction is complete.

Carbon Destroyer 1 is soon ready to set sail for Esbjerg in late March.
